Born on December 7, 1973 in Abashiri City, Abashiri, as the eldest son of a farming family, he grew up in an environment with a panoramic view of the Sea of Okhotsk and the Shiretoko mountain range.
They debuted on April 1, 2009 with "Ryuhyo no Eki" on Columbia Records. -

In 2016, a sake brewery in Mie Prefecture that had suspended sake production was relocated to Kamikawa Town and Kamikawa Taisetsu Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. was established.
They brew small batches of high-quality sake using ingredients from Hokkaido, and also produce sake using wooden barrels made at Abashiri Prison.
The company plans to open a sake brewery in Abashiri City and begin brewing in 2026. -
