Okhotsk Chipmunk Park
A chipmunk park on the shores of Lake Abashiri where you can feed
Located on the shores of Lake Abashiri, Okhotsk Chipmunk Park is a relaxing space where you can get up close and personal with adorable chipmunks. The park's greatest charm is that visitors can feed the chipmunks directly.
The park isn't particularly large, but you can observe many chipmunks running around energetically, perching on tree branches, and eating up close. In particular, their adorable gestures when receiving food directly, and their innocent behavior of stuffing their cheeks with lots of food, provide visitors with a truly relaxing experience that they could watch forever without getting bored.
Located about 20 minutes by car from Abashiri city center, slightly off the main road, this is a perfect spot for families and adults seeking a relaxing getaway. Be sure to experience interacting with the adorable chipmunks.
