Western dining frontier
A Western-style restaurant offering familiar dishes ranging from omurice to ramen.
This Western-style dining restaurant was opened by a chef who worked for about 25 years in high-end hotels and luxury cruise ships in Tokyo, with the aim of making Western cuisine easily accessible in Abashiri.
When we first opened, Western-style food was considered rather exclusive in Abashiri, but with the desire to create a homey atmosphere, we started offering familiar dishes such as hamburgers and curry, and even ramen, despite being a Western-style restaurant.
The most popular item is the "Frontier Bento," named after the restaurant. This bento box, which has been loved for over 30 years since the restaurant opened, is packed with a variety of side dishes, including two kinds of fried white fish, fried shrimp, chicken sauté, and a hamburger steak.
The "Frontier-style Omurice," with its colorful salad arranged around the omelet rice, is also popular. The rich flavor from the demi-glace and ketchup makes it a hit with men as well.
With its extensive menu and spacious interior featuring counter seats, tables, and raised seating areas, it can be used for a variety of occasions, making it a popular spot for families and attracting many locals of all ages.

With the aim of offering Western-style dishes that locals can easily enjoy, the owner has made various adjustments to suit Japanese tastes in the dishes he prepares. Among them, the "Escargots Burgundy" is one of the dishes that has a loyal following, as it is made using the original French recipe.
