The restaurant always offers around 80 dishes, all made with plenty of fresh, seasonal fish and vegetables sourced locally. Of these, about 10 are "Today's Recommendations," ensuring that even regulars never get bored. The "Sashimi Platter," featuring seasonal seafood, is a must-try. The "Potato & Sausage" is a perfect combination of the seasonal flavor of potatoes and homemade sausage made with Abashiri's specialty wild mustard greens.
The owner, who previously worked as a restaurant chef at a golf course, has created a menu that includes Western dishes such as Neapolitan spaghetti, reflecting his desire to "meet the requests of his customers." One of the biggest attractions is the opportunity to savor the precious "Tsurikinki" (fish caught by fishing) from Abashiri. In particular, the "Tsurikinki no Nitsuke" (simmered fish caught by fishing), made with fatty fish simmered to perfection in a sweet and savory soy sauce, is exquisite. The umami and fat of the fish blend perfectly with the sauce, creating an unparalleled flavor. In addition to being simmered, it can be enjoyed in a variety of other ways, such as grilled, as sashimi, or boiled.
