Enjoy winter cycling on a fat bike with extra-wide tires that provide stable riding even on snowy roads! The experience of cycling through the snow of Okhotsk using your own two feet will surely create unforgettable memories, with a pleasant feeling of fatigue and the quintessential Hokkaido scenery passing before your eyes. There are two fat bikes for children, suitable for upper elementary school students and older. Adult bikes are available for those 150cm tall and up, and are operated just like a regular bicycle. The event takes place at Kitahama Beach where drift ice approaches the shore, and if the drift ice is present, you can even touch it. Even if you are unlucky and the drift ice is not visible, the magnificent view of the Okhotsk Sea and the Shiretoko mountain range spread out before you will surely move you.
