Ainu and Uilta Paper-Cutting Experience ~Dacha Forest~
Paper cutting workshop in the forest and cafe time around the bonfire
If you walk slowly up through the forest from the foot of the mountain, you will come across a handmade tree terrace on the top of a small hill.
This place was once known as "Kamuinomiushieto," which means a place of prayer for the Ainu.
There, you can see the patterns of the Ainu people and the Uilta, a northern people who miraculously left their mark on Abashiri.
We hold workshops where you can deepen your understanding while playing with paper cutting. After enjoying paper cutting,
Dacha baked sweets and outdoor cafe time. Watching the bonfire, cows and listening to the birds.
It feels great to lie down on the hay sofa and look at the trees stretching up above!
