Abashiri Machinaka Guest House Watara

  • Shijo area

In the middle of Abashiri, from a shopping street to a journey

A guest house born in a shopping street that conveys the history and culture of Abashiri.
Shop owners in the shopping district built it themselves as a place where anyone could stay overnight.
The name ``Watara'' comes from The Ainu language name for ``Hat Rock,'' a symbol and landmark of Abashiri that is familiar to citizens, ``Kamui Watara'' (God, Rock).
Hat Rock can be seen from the window next to the elevator on the 5th floor and from the window of room 501. It is close to the restaurants in the center of the city, and within walking distance of roadside stations and bus terminals. The room can accommodate up to 3 people. It also has a fully equipped kitchen and is often used by long-term guests.
