Abashiri City is using the slopes of Tentozan Lake View Ski Resort to develop a flower garden as a tourist spot and a place for citizens to relax. This project is an initiative to promote the development of tourist destinations in cooperation with citizens. Every year, citizens become foster parents (adopt program) of flower gardens, plant annual plants such as salvia and begonia, and manage weeding. I am doing it.
It has been used as a tourist attraction by citizens, local residents, and tourists visiting from all over the country. .
This year as well, we would like to maintain a flower garden that welcomes many citizens and tourists, and we are looking for groups, organizations, NPOs, and offices that can conduct training activities.
What is an adopt program?
An "adopt program" is a program in which a corporate group or group "adopts" a certain public area such as a road, river, or park, and maintains the area by cleaning and greening it.
What makes the "adopt program" different from general volunteer activities is that the participating organizations and the administration exchange a certain contract. In return for participating organizations to develop their areas of responsibility, the administrative side will support the activities of each organization and install signboards to widely appeal their contribution to the community.
Outline of Adopt Program for Hana Tento flower Park
Abashiri City will prepare flower seedlings and tools for participating groups to plant. Then plow the planting area and fertilize it. Participating organizations will be asked to plant flower seedlings from mid- to late-June, and to manage the flower gardens by planting additional plants and weeding as appropriate, approximately 6-8 times until the end of October. increase.
In Abashiri City, signboards of each participating group will be set up in the flower garden, PR activities will be carried out to the media, and the activities of the Hana Tento flower Park and the participating groups will be made known. In addition, as a safety net, we subscribe to accident insurance, guarantee against accidents during activities within the scope of insurance, and support activities to be carried out smoothly.
