Hana Tento flower Park is a famous flower spot on Tentozan in Abashiri City. It is located near the summit overlooking the city of Abashiri, and utilizes the slopes of the Abashiri Lake View Ski Resort, which is used in the winter. Construction began in 2002 with the aim of filling Tentozan, which serves as a ski resort in the winter, with flowers in the summer, and making it a new tourist attraction and a place of relaxation for local residents.

This flower garden is managed through an "adopt-a-program" run by civic groups and local businesses, and is run as a community garden where residents volunteer to plant and maintain the flowers. When in full bloom, approximately 35,000 flowers bloom across the vast 3.5-hectare slope, and the colorful flowers boast overwhelming beauty from mid-June to mid-October.
Hana Tento is also known as one of Abashiri's best viewpoints, offering a panoramic view of the Shiretoko Mountain Range and the Sea of Okhotsk from its mountaintop lodge (open as a rest facility).
